I love to quilt (thanks to my Mom for getting me hooked on that one)! One thing that I love about quilting - is the fabrics! Fabric, fabric, fabric!!! I love it and I hoard it - badly! I've got a few projects on my list that I really want to make - I need to sit down and make time for them soon!
I love to check online quilt/fabric stores to see what fabrics have just come out and to see what will be coming out in the coming months. As I was browsing a great online quilt shop yesterday, I found a bunch of new fabric lines coming out from various scrapbooking companies. It always is fun to see industries cross over each other and I was excited for these scrapbooking companies to be getting their designs in fabric - so cool! Here are some one's that I found:
Neat new fabrics from Sweetwater - used to be around in the scrapbooking industry and I'm not sure if they are now or not. I'm so excited for that bl/wh text fabric - I'll be getting lots of that.
How about some Cosmo Cricket in fabric? I hope that they come out with some of their other lines - I'd love love love some of their papers in fabric!
I was so surprised to see some new fabrics from My Mind's Eye coming out! These look beautiful!
Looking for some great fabrics for a Christmas project? How about these beautiful one's from Basic Grey?
I love the 'Sultry' color combination in these fabrics from Basic Grey!
And another from Basic Grey - 'Eva' with all those pretty paisleys and flourishes.
(All photos are from the Fatquartershop.com)
I'm sure there are more out there and I'm sure that there is a lot more to come....designers in this industry are so talented and it's so neat to see other markets diggin' into that too! :)
I LOVE using fabrics in my scrapbooking and now I'm so inspired to go do it right now - it's been awhile! Do you like these fabric lines? What do you think? What scrapbooking line of papers do you think would make a fun fabric line? Fun things to think about!
very happy to read your blog.

I have the Sultry fabric and I love it. I've used it in both cards and layouts. I may make a quick quilt with the rest of it.
It would be fun to see American Crafts cross over to fabric. I love their big bold prints.

Patterned paper and fabrics are my two favorite things to buy and play with. I had no idea that Moda teamed up with Basic Grey to create such beautiful fabrics. I'm going to go broke! LOL
