The theme for June for the Twopeasinabucket.com Garden is 'Mini's'. Mini embellishments, photos, pages, mini books...however you want to interpret and play off of the word 'Mini's'. It was really fun and if you get the chance this month...create a page with something mini in mind. See what you come up with! :)
For my theme layout this month, I did a page with lots of mini hearts! I'm just loving hearts lately and yes, this is just another mushy page, but it's going in a frame in our house so I didn't want tons of journaling or other stuff on it. I punched out a gazillion hearts in all different shades of the rainbow and glued them all to white cardstock to create my own patterned paper. I added a large photo and then 5 larger punched out hearts, each embellished in it's own way. The red one with all those tiny hearts were also punched and glued to the cardstock. There is about a 1" border of white cardstock all the way around the page - a bit hard to see there. It took quite a long time - but I love the way it looks. Put in a movie and your good to go! :) You can see more details and the products that I used by going here.
For my new product layout, I used a lot of new October Afternoon papers and label stickers, new Quickutz designs for the Silhouette, and lots of new little things. I talk about it all more at Two Peas - go here to read more and see the products used. Lots of die-cutting and doubling up on the die-cutting for some words and flourishes to make them pop-off the page. Love those new Quickutz designs - so fabulous!
Did you know that every Friday, a new Weekly Challenge goes up in the Garden? I love seeing what the challenge is each week - it's a great way to get your creativity jump-started if your needing a fun place to start. Tomorrow, I have a challenge going up - it's a fun one! I'll post here about it as well - but I hope that you will all play along!
I've got a ton of things to get done today...so much! So I better get busy! Hope you have a wonderful Thursday!
Oh - how about 'So you think you can dance!'??? I love that show and I'm soooo glad it's back on! I was so shocked when that red head girl got cut last night - she almost made it last year (between her and Katie) and I thought she was amazing. I still don't get the reasoning for it - odd!
I'm excited that Army Wives and the Next Food Network Star starts up Sunday! Great, fun shows! :)
I thought maybe you'd stamped those hearts but this is even more amazing! I absolutely love the LO - it will be a wonderful piece to hang in your home. Thanks for your inspiration!!

Oh Robyn, be still my heart!!! LOL! Seriously, I love, love these...especially the hearts one. I want to lift that so bad and I'd pay $$ to get in your creative head for one day. You have such a gift!

*sigh* Beautiful pages! I think I need to do some b/w photos. Wow - all those hearts - that's a labor of love, and it turned out wonderfully.
Now about SYTYCD - I was SHOCKED when they let Natalie (red-haired girl) go. I guess I know nothing about dance, because I thought she looked great! And what's the deal abou Mia Michaels giving that one guy (sorry, can't remember his name, but he was the last guy cut before the top 20 last year) a hard time. To me, he looks like he's dancing his heart out. Ah, well. They'll announce the top 20 tonight. All ready to record on my DVR. :)
