On June 20th, my June class for 'A Year of You' at Twopeasinabucket.com went up. You can go here to see the supply list, additional photos, and to download the free PDF with step-by-step instructions. I didn't have a ton of photos for June of 2008 so I did my layout with a few favorite photos of the month. But you have other options if you want to add more photos...just go to the 2Ps link to read about it all.
My whole layout was inspired by these amazing journaling tags from Anna Griffin:
They are so beautiful! I cut out the butterfly from that front title page and used it as an embellishment on my layout - I couldn't let it go to waste! :) On my layout above, that label at the bottom left is my favorite - just gorgeous! I have another one of these in my bucket right now - have to have another set! I also printed my photos so they were big enough to cover the tags and then placed a tag on top of the photo and cut the photo out in the same shape...so easy!
I also totally totally love these metal numbers from Making Memories! Amazing! They are so beautiful and I love how you get 2 of each number and they are a good size! Numbers seem hard to come by with rubons, chipboard, etc. and I just was thrilled to get these!
So, I hope that you'll come and play along this month for the June 'A Year of You' free class at Two peas in a Bucket.com. Be sure to upload your layouts to the Gallery before July 20th to be entered into the drawing for a Gift Certificate to Two Peas! :) :)
I need to take photos of my New York City finds and my fun antique find that I had previously mentioned - I think someone guessed it right in the comments! :) :) But - my little Jack Jack hasn't been feeling great and woke up in the middle of the night with diarrhea everywhere and then threw up...it hasn't been a fun day at all! Poor kid! I haven't been feeling 100% either so I hope that I don't come down with it all! So, I'll be back asap with some fun things!
I hope that all the Father's out there had a wonderful Father's Day! Ryan got some fun things and it was nice to focus on him and tell him how much we appreciate and love him! My Mom was going to have us all up for dinner but she hurt her back really bad, so Ryan and I and the kiddos went up and made them the dinner that I originally had planned for that night. It felt good to serve them and do something special for them and it felt nice to help my Dad get a special, good meal as well. We love them dearly and I'm so thankful for all that they do for us!
Ok - it's taken me all morning to write this with lots of stops and starts to help Jaxon - have a good one! :)
Gorgeous! I love what you did with the b/w photos. Well done indeed.
