Does anyone else feel like the month of December always passes by way to quickly? I do! There is always too many things on my 'to do' list and not enough time to ever get them all done. Especially, when you are sick! The kids have been sick for a week and now I am super sick...and Hudson got a fever again last night. So not fun!!
Random side note...but do you watch the show 'Brothers and Sisters' on Sunday night? I love that show and I'll never forget that episode when 'Kitty' was sick and taking care of her two sick step-children. She called her mom saying how hard it was and that she just couldn't do it and her mom said to her, "Suck it up!" - cause you have to do it!! And I always think about that...this is one of those times, that no matter how sick I feel and how much I want to crawl in bed and sleep...I can't. I think God should make it a 'law' that mother's never get sick. It's so hard!
Anyway....
A few random shares today...
I had two layouts go up on the Hero Arts Blog this week. Leslie is doing an amazing job hosting this week and it's all about challenging color schemes. I love color and was excited to create a layout with a color scheme she chose for Monday. Be sure to check out all the great stuff over there!
Here is another layout for Hero Arts that is on the blog that shows a way to keep those special Christmas cards that you receive during the holidays. I plan to put all the cards from my sisters/bro in here so that I have them in one place. I used a 8x8 page protector and placed it behind the patterned papers and sewed it onto the page...to create a pocket for the cards. Lots of fun stamping as well! :)
I also finally got started on my Christmas journal for this year. I was first inspired by my Countdown to Christmas project (seen here at Two Peas) to create a journal that would sit on the table by the frame as a compliment to it for the season. However, I have collected so many random things this season that I thought I would just go with a more eclectic random feel to it. Just lots of fun random tid-bits and things. So, I finally finished the cover and put some pages into it over the past week and need to work on getting photos and such into it now. I'll try to get to take a picture today so I can post that tomorrow.
And...

Hi Robyn,
First I like to tell you that I absolutely love your work! Just discovered it, but you make the most gorgeous things! And I would really like to know which font it is you used on the upper LO, saying the word "little". Thanks for all you do and I'll keep checking out your blog!
