Dork on the two posts. Sorry!

Hey there Robyn...I'm just catching up on blogs tonight and was tickled to find your post about the Momagenda. I've been using the Memory Dock for two years and I'm looking for something new. I'm a geek and get so tickled about any new system of organization. A fresh new calendar always thrills me. :o) I think I'm going for the brown as well. Did you get your personalized? Talk to you soon!

Okay, first I have to tell you...since we just got out of school June 26th, it freaked me out last week at Target when we hadn't even been out TWO WEEKS and they were setting the back to school stuff. Augghh! Not yet! Sorry, had to get that out. Taylor is 8 and loves her DS - most enduring favorite (even my 17 yo plays it) is SuperMario 64. She blew through the Hannah Montana game in a hurry, didn't like Avatar. And they both play Sonic the Hedgehog. Newest one is Imagine Animal Doctor (I think?) and that's a real winner! Oh, and did you know if they each have one, they can 'pixel chat' to each other? sort of like IM'ing. Can you tell we have a video game family? And I'm jealous there was no such thing when I was a kid...would have made the trip to Kansas much happier.

I LOVE back to school shopping. Planning a trip up to the Park City Outlets next weekend with my mom, sister, and dd. :) Can't wait! I've been saving for months. My kids have the DS and love the Mario games (kart and others).

I, too, absolutely LOVE back-to-school time... and I don't even have kids. But there's just something about the fresh notebooks, backpacks and all the other supplies that call out to me. I LOVE wandering up and down the aisles in Target, while my husband cowers in fear nearby...he has horrible memories of school.

And YAY on getting knee-deep into that new project of yours (whatever it might be). There's just something FUN about JUST getting started. I recently hit the same kind of place... I've had ideas swirling around in my brain for so long, and FINALLY got a chance to just dive in and tackle them! still in the beginning stages, not much done, but still, it's a GREAT feeling!

I recommend Nintendogs, but avoid Pet Resort...not user-friendly at all. My oldest loves the Pokemon games, but you've got plenty of time for that later :)

I love the look of that planner. Definitely something I need! As for Nintendo's. We will probably be getting my son one this year too. He actually wanted one last christmas but my sister bought him a PSP so we didn't, but he is still dying for one. The reason he want's his? Pokemon!! And I'm sure boys are universal, so I highly recommend getting your son one that has a pokemon game! You can get the Pokemon Diamond or Pokemon Pearl DS that comes with the game and system. It is totally what all the boys are playing at the moment over here. Unfortunately I only have boys so am clueless to what girls use on them!

such a cute planner! i have a plain old black one that i use to keep track of my daycare stuff ... so NOT fun looking. lol! i think the DS's are great ideas for the kids ... they're just the right age. my girls love cooking mama, something "princess", the imagine games ... and something to do with pets, can't think of the names.

can't wait to hear more of what you're planning! and yes ... that was very vague ... so cruel to tease us like that. lol!

hhmmm. don't know much about DS games. but if there is mario kart, i think that would always be fun!
i LOVE that planner. how cool is the pink! i can't believe you didn't get that one!
can't wait to see the big project!

You have an amazing blog! Just happened to stumble upon you while surfing and I'm blown away....although I've always admired your work. Just stunning! I found myself scrolling all the way down and your projects are gorgeous all the way! Have a great night...you've been bookmarked on my site! :)

Oh, I love school supplies, too! :) Great planner!

My 7 yo dd loves, loves Imagine Babyz for her DS, as well as Nintendogs. She also has a Hannah Montana game and likes that, too, but the Babyz game is one she plays constantly. The Imagine series also includes a fashion designer game, I believe, and maybe a cooking/chef one - they are made specifically for girls ages 6+ and both my 7 yo dd and almost 11 yo dd love them.

My 5 yo ds loves any of the legos games for his DS. As well as Nintendogs, too.

mario kart and mario party ds are favorites of my boys (5 & 7)
love that agenda - i might need one!
