I've been wanting to do some regular posting things on my blog here becuase I feel like I get overwhelmed with what to write about and then never write! :) So, I'm thinking Monday will be a day of "Unnecessary Necessities." This day's post will be filled with fun things that I have found online that I love! I love to shop and often have to tell myself that it's an unnecessary expense...sometimes I still get it and other times I pass and just love to be inspired by it. So, hopefully you'll find inspiration in these posts and maybe a few fun things that you'll want to add to your home, studio, closet or whatever it may be.
1. First up today, this darling purse from Target. With spring around the corner, I felt in the need for a fresh, new purse. So, this is what I snatched up yesterday. Love the colors of it! So fresh and fun! And, lots of great pockets - just what I need! And room for a diaper and stuff for Jaxon in the middle if needed! :)
2. I love cool home decor items and Pottery Barn is always a fav of mine to find vintage remakes of things and cool items. Love looking through the catalog each change of the season for these fun finds. Over a year ago, they had a large vintage camera that I got and have in my studio - I love it. Well, I saw that the Vintage Movie Projectors were on sale and I got the small one. I love it! I put it up in my front room where our main tv is and it looks so cool! The film on it even has the ending credits like on a real movie reel - so neat!
3. I feel in love with this black clip frame when I saw this room (see the small movie projector there too!). I bought two of them and the neat thing - it is 12" wide (20" high) so it is perfect for hanging a layout from in your room. I set up two and will do this this week - I may have one be an inspiration place of random things like shown in the photo. Too cute - and so cheap! :)
4. Ok Mom's of girls...are you finding it super hard to find a one-piece swim suit for your girls?? I can't believe how there aren't very many offered. I did find this one at Gymboree and was so happy! Awesome colors, love the different shoulder straps and that splash of color on the flower. Talk about inspiring (oh, and Madi looks darling in it too!) LOL!
5. Yes, I'm still a sucker for fabric! I have so many quilts that I need to finish now. I can't wait for our Girls Retreat with my sisters and mom to finish them all up. In the meantime, I saw these darling new fabrics from Amy Butler and fell in love. This great store put together a 5" charm pack of all the fabrics - I ordered one and plan to put together some pages and a small album with the squares. Can't wait for it to arrive. And, no more fabric buys for me until Heather Bailey's new fabric line comes out! I can't wait!
That's it for today. Hope you likey! I'll share more items like these next Monday. And, I'll be able to share some fun scrappy projects these week as well! :) Hugs!
