Today, on Friday, April 11, Jaxon is exactly 11 weeks old! :) I took some photos of him today, in between all his sleepiness and got a few cute ones. I used my dear friend, Maggie's, photoshop actions on these photos. I used the Vintage action and then I lightened them up using my own steps and sharpened the pictures a bit. On the first photo, I used a brush from Ali that I believe came with one of her KOTM's at Lisa's site a few months back. Maggie's actions are way cool and I hope to use them some more! :) She did a great job and if your looking for some great actions to help you change your photos up a bit, they are great! :) So fun to play with!!
Well, we stayed in SLC much longer than expected, but had a great trip! We all did get sick though - horrible coughs and such - does it ever stop? Seriously? Jaxon probably has it the worst right now and I'm just trying to stay on top of it all - hoping that he doesn't get RSV again. So crazy!
I've been busy taking care of sick kiddos and trying to scrap (in between the laundry, cleaning and unpacking...and cleaning...and cleaning that needs to be done!). I've got some fun things that I'm working on that I'll be able to share next week so stay tuned. :)
Also, did you see that Hero Arts has a blog? Hello, awesome!!!
I totally love it!
They are posting new things each day and it's just awesome! Be sure to check it out - those girls rock!
What else? I feel like I had so much to write about and now I'm drawing a blank! LOL! For those that I owed RAKs too - I finally got them out yesterday - so sorry about the delay! I did throw in some extra goodies for you so I hope that you'll forgive me!
I have taken so many fun photos that I'm dying to edit but I just don't have the time right now. It was fun to just sit down and play with these two photos quickly. Love seeing things turn out like I envision them and loving photography right now...well, I have been for awhile but really getting into it more. So fun!
Also, still working on my room - will it ever stop? LOL! I've got so many empty spaces to fill now, but trying to decide how to fill it is a struggle! :) I saw a post on my sweet friends, Nichol's, blog awhile ago about how she had bought those plastic organizers and moved all her flowers into them. So funny - cause I had just done the same thing! I have always been picky about keeping things in their packaging, but not anymore. I wasn't finding things and getting to use them, so I bought a bunch of those organizers and did 3 with flowers, 2 with brads, 1 with eyelets, and 1 with a modge-podge of random fun embellies. Love it! I promise to show pictures of the things that I've done in there as soon as I can. It seems like I'm a bit slow moving with things lately - sorry! :)
Anyway - hope you all have a great weekend! There is a big flea market here on Main street tomorrow and I'm hoping to get over there and see if I can find anything fun! :) Have a good one!
