When I was asked to do some projects using the April KOTM, I was excited to play! But, then when I got some of that kit in my hands and saw that I was playing with...I about freaked out!!! I LOVE IT!!! I love dry embossing and have got a bunch of templates and things that I love to use....love all the swiss dots on the envelopes and the dry embossed titles. Love the colors - take a look at all that you get in this kit - all those color combos - I can't wait to play. I've got a bunch of ideas in my head and I'm just aching to get a full kit to do them! I'll be sure to share here this month!

So - check out the kit - it goes up on April 1 and I'm sure it's gonna go fast! So fresh and hip! I love it!

Here are the projects that I created using the brown set in the kit. This first page, I put Jaxon's birth story, typed up, in that envelope! This kit is so functional and so cool - way fun!!

The second page is just a bunch of photos of Jaxon's first bath at the hospital. I used the scalloped lined square from the kit and added the journaling. I love the little crown and gems on the photo on the right.

Still not done!!

I am still not done with my big project I'm working on - gotta finish it up today and tomorrow for sure!!! So, the whole organization thing and my room will be next week. Sorry to leave you hanging - I think that I'll always be able to get more done than it seems that I can lately. Jaxon is 2 months old now - crazy!!! I did another onesie and took photos - I'll share those too. And, we had our 11 year Anniversary on the 14th! 11 years - unbelievable to me!! We went to my parents place here and spend the night without the older 2 kiddos and had a great time!

Easter was fabulous! My kids have been playing outside non-stop and already have fabulous tans! LOL! I don't know what I'm gonna do when the heat is over 100 degrees - do they make SPF 100?? I've already been lathering them up! Anyway - they were so cute on Easter! Two egg hunts at Grandma & Opa's house and gifts and lots of fun playing outside. I got some fabulous photos of the kids - I played with this one the other day and haven't been able to open up any of the others - I have tons of favorites and I can't wait to print them off and scrap them all!

I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter! We are boiling eggs right now and getting ready to decorate them. Tonight, we are off to my in-laws for dinner and for a fun egg hunt for the kiddos. They are so excited! Take lots of photos - and when your done - have fun scrappin' them.

A photo

I am alive...just so busy right now. I'll get back to regular blogging (more than once a week...heheheheeee) next week. I just haven't had time lately - although I've wanted to share so many things. Just a quick photo of Ryan and Jaxon on his blessing day. I need to edit some others - my Mom curled Madi's hair so beautifully, Ryan and Hudson had matching pink & blue ties and looked so handsome - and Jaxon was so handsome! Love that little guy!

Trying to finish up some projects this week and then I plan to play next week. Got some things planned that I want to create and can hopefully get up here to share.

I've been buying more scrapbooking stuff...I seriously need to stop it! I just bought three sets of new Basic Grey stamps - I can't wait to use them!

I've also been totally cleaning my room - I know I've said that for awhile now - it's a project - but it's looking sooo good! I just love that I can see my floor - well, almost! :) I used to love keeping everything in it's original packaging, but I took all my flowers and brads out and put them in organizers - I love it!! I was forgetting what I have and now I can open up one case and it's all there - all the yummy colors. I'll show pictures of everything next week!

Guess what...

It's official - he's smiling! It's not really regular yet - maybe once a day - but dang it, I love it!! We finally got his crib up last night and he was soooo captivated by the Dwell Circle bumper - he just started smiling. I was there taking photos of him in the crib for the first time and happened to catch his darling smile! What a cutie!

(By the way, I had bought 3 sets of bedding from Pottery Barn kids and finally settled on one. Then, I saw this Circle bedding at Target and was totally smitten! Love the graphic feel - anything with polka dots - you know I'm gonna love it! So, everything went back to PB and this is here to stay! I can't believe how much Jaxon loves it - so fun!)

I'm super busy - working on lots of projects that I'm wrapping up this week, so sorry I haven't been around. One clue...be sure to check out the APRIL KOTM at the beginning of April. Consider yourself warned - so killer! Working on some things to share when it's up! :) :) And, I ordered the March kit that is up now and it's here - so cute! I love all the elements included. I can't wait to take this up to my parents with a bunch of photos to be able to get some quick pages done. I don't plan on doing them like they are designed and will definetly add more - but I love the starting point.

Also...I have the Layout of the Week up at Hero Arts. I personally love this page - LOVE that stamp! I had fun using a bunch of markers to make lots of fun colored flowers.

Ok - back to work. I'll be back soon - sorry - it's crazy busy - but it's all good! Just gotta balance it all right! :)

Hello!

How is it already Thursday! Geez! So sorry to leave you all hanging - I woke up Monday morning not being able to talk and have had a HORRIBLE cold ever since. Madi and Hudson both have a horrible cough and I'm just praying that Jaxon doesn't get sick again. So, between taking care of all of us and getting some assignments wrapped up - I just haven't had time to get on here. So sorry to leave you hanging!

Oh he's so precious - I saw my little niece Sunday - she's just turned 2 months and the coos and smiles and body wiggles are just around the corner for you!

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments! Jaxon is a doll! The baby ache came and went. But now he's got a bad red rash on his cheeks and neck - I'm thinking exzema?? Hudson has it a bit and I'm wondering if this is the same thing. Poor kiddo. And, now the cradle cap begins - oh all the lovely things a newborn goes through! LOL!

Sunday, Jaxon's blessing, was wonderful! Ryan did an amazing job and it was so so wonderful to have all my family here - they all came down and it was so nice! I was bummed cause the microphone was off during the blessing - ummmmm - hello! I heard a few bits and pieces and then had everyone relay what they had heard afterwards. It was very tender and special though. So thankful for the Priesthood and that my hubby could do that! Special day for the little Jack man! :)

The onesie - I had a few questions. I just designed it in Photoshop and then printed it onto a Avery t-shirt transfer iron on paper. Cut it out and ironed it on - so easy and so cute! I love it! Try it out!

The font on the announcement below is 'Breast Bomb' - it's free and can be found online. Just do a search for it. Love that font! The small text is Uncle Charles from Autumn Leaves which can be purchased at Two Peas - my all-time fav font!

I'll leave ya with a layout. I was itching to create last month and so I sat down with some new products I had got and just had fun. No assignment...no color scheme to follow, no product that I had to use...just me playing. I love how it turned out and thought I'd share! ;) Just for fun! I'll be back more - promise!
