3 Product Challenge #11

First, thanks again everyone! You all lift me up! :) We had an ok weekend - Hudson got a fever again (thinking it's cause of those sharp teeth that are breaking through right now) and Madi is thankfully feeling better. I'm so glad Ryan was here to help this weekend! So glad! :)

So...admist some assignments, I just had to sit and play and do a layout for me. So glad I did. It felt so good! I love creating layouts...I've got a bunch of 'other paper crafting' ((Which are still fun)) assignments on my plate right now and there is just something about layouts that I love...the photos, the story. SO fun.

Anyway, here is my layout for the 3 Product Challenge this week: Week #11.

1. Color & Black and White photo on your layout ((if you can't print bl/wh photos at home - just use multiple color photos))

2. Stencils (I bought that entire Autumn Leaves Office line - love that stuff. So, it was fun to use some here - HRW for Hudson's initials) I backed the letters with ribbon, fabric and paper.

3. Rounded Corners (I used the new KI Color Theory Green paper here)

Thanks for looking. It was a fun layout to create.

And guess what my sister drove back from Lake Powell yesterday...our new car. So happy! We are going to get it detailed and cleaned up this morning then I'll post a picture. Any guesses as to what it is??? I'll mail some fun goodies to the first person that guesses it!

Thank you...and some random thoughts.

I'm overly emotional today...so I just wanted to come and thank you all. I wanted to thank my friends and all of you...you know who you are...those that took the time to email me and congratulate me on my Guest Garden Girl spot this month. You know when you have dreams and goals and things that you want, deep inside, and when they happen, you just want to share it with someone. Not to be boastful or prideful, but just to simply share.

Thank you for letting me do that here. Thank you for your kindness and sweet words. I've received many emails from readers of my blog and people from Two Peas and those emails mean the world to me. THANK YOU!!

Wow. What a morning.

Madisyn got a high fever last night and had a hard time sleeping. We were planning on Ryan going to Lake Powell with my family - he's been so busy at work and I just felt like he needed a break too. But, at the same time, I was worried....I've had such a hard time with them lately, really just on the verge and I was worried with the thought of him leaving. We woke up this morning and decided that he should just stay.

My family all drove here last night to see us and then leave to Lake Powell this morning. So, we got up and got the kids in the car, Madisyn feeling so sick and ran over to their hotel to see them real quick. While we were there, my dad and Ryan gave the kids each a blessing, and then they gave me one. And, boy did the tears fall. Both of my kids are suffering from sickness and not eating well, and we are concerned about them. And I'm having a hard time being a good mom right now, being patient and keeping it all together. So, it couldn't have meant more to me.

I love my family. I love my dad...I'm so blessed to have such an incredible father that is so in tune with the spirit. He and my husband are such worthy priesthood members and I'm so thankful for that blessing in my life. After the blessings, I just immediately felt at peace. Felt ready to tackle the day...that I could do it. That I can do it. And I will.

So emotional. Need to get myself together so I can help them and get done the things that I need to do this weekend. I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for letting me share. Hugs!

Ahhhh!

It has definetly been one of those weeks...tired and frustrated! The kids are running me down and I'm having a hard time staying afloat - like seriously! Hudson is feeling a bit better but he's seriously got the runs and will only drink milk. Any thoughts? I'm starting to wonder if he's allergic to milk or something...his poor bum! I don't know what to do and it's really buggin' me!! He won't drink water or eat anything so I give in and give him milk. So hard!

My fam is all going to Lake Powell this weekend - just the adults on the new houseboat. I'm so bummed cause we couldn't find someone to watch our kids...makes me sad. But,  you do what you gotta do right?

OHHHH...if you emailed me about preordering a Stampin' Up! catalog and I haven't got back to you - will you please email me again? I'm sooooo sorry - I lost some of those emails - don't know what happened but I want to be sure to get you on the list!! You'll want one - I promise! :)

Well - I gotta run. I was gonna post about the fun stuff I ordered from Cafe Press and link you all up - I'll have to come back tomorrow morning and do that. Fun stuff!

My hunka hubby...

Soooo funny cause Chris posted a message to my last post asking why I don't post photos of my hubby...well, I was coming here to do that exact same thing today. Too funny Chris! :)

I mentioned back when we went to Vegas that my hubby passed the Real Estate exam and he just got his license to sell on Saturday! Yahooo Ryan! I was so happy for him!! Another thing under his belt that he can do on the side...it will be great! So, this morning I had to take a photo of him for his business cards with the brokerage he's going with and this is what we came away with...

I love this man!

He seriously is like Father of the Lifetime...he helps out so much around here, plus owns his own business and has so much to juggle. I admire him so much! He's got a lot on his plate at work right now...busy, busy, busy. He's hired two guys that are starting in the next month so that will help. I'm just so proud of him and all that he's acheived. He's so focused and determined...and a wonderful father!

I love you honey!

So, there you go...my man. :)

On another note, I'm just a busy bee right now. Trying to get stuff done while it seems like we all aren't feeling well. I think Hudson is starting to get better, while I'm starting to feel sick. Hopefully it won't last long.

Madisyn's graduation is tomorrow...should be cute. Worried about what I'm gonna do with Hudson - gotta figure that one out. Anyway, off to make dinner. What to make, what to make? I hate that nightly question! Hugs!

What a weekend!

First of all...thanks for all your emails and advice about Hudson. I called the Dr. on Friday and they said that there is a flu bug going around and to watch him for a few days. He's had bad diahrea for a few days and Sunday night, he threw up lots of yucky milk. I felt so bad for him. Sunday was his worst day - he just wanted to sit on my lap all day long. I know he was just so uncomfortable all day. The poor little guy. I'm hoping that this will pass soon. He's been eating less and less for 2 months now so I'm not sure if the eating thing was caused from this, but we'll see if he improves or not.

Friday night: We went out to dinner and to the DaVinci Code. I thought it was good - I haven't read the book so I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I thought it was a great movie. Some parts were pretty hard to watch - or understand - my sister said I need to read the book cause they explain some of those things more, but overall, we had a great time. It provoked a huge 'religious' conversation all the way home and through the night. Ryan and I were into it - history, our church and how grateful I am for it and more. Interesting night to say the least.

Yard Sale: Went great! We made over $400 so I guess it was a success. We still ended up with lots of things that we took to the DI. I just can't get over how cheap and funny people tend to be at a yard sale. We had tons of clothes - and I mean NICE clothes! People were just funny - it just bugged - but made me laugh at the same time. My hubby went way cheap, but I guess we got rid of stuff and made some money.

Sunday: I was with Hudson most the day. Ryan went to church and taught our class and that night, my little nephew Ammon had his 5th bday party. I felt bad I couldnt' go, but Rye took Madi over there and she had a great time. She loves seeing her cousins, especially Maggie cause she loves princess too. So funny.

I've got to finish up a bunch of stuff this week. My studio is a complete mess! I hate it! I can't create when it's like this so I know that I'm gonna have to take some time to clean it up today - no matter what. I got some neat lights from Pottery Barn for my wall behind my desk - one on each side of my magnet/chalk board. They are so cool - hopefully I'll get them up today or tomorrow and I'll post a picture. It will be great to have some lighting on my desk but not directly in my eyes!

I finally got all the photos of my card and to my computer - so many cutes ones! Love it! I just wanted to share one...kinda dark but so cute. My dad rented a huge blow-up air obstacle course thing - with a huge slide at the end. Thank goodness my sisters back yard was big enough to fit it! It was a surprise - Madi was in this darling new skirt and shirt - I would of put her in something else had I known! LOL! Her shirt was ruined by the end of the night - all that climbing in that thing. Madi was non stop on that thing last weekend - my sister Shannon, the amazing photographer, got this photo of Madi and my mom that is soooo precious. I actually printed it and already started a page with it - I need to finish it and I'll post it. Anyway, cute little photo of Madi.

Off to deal with a sick kiddo and try to work - let's hope I can get some stuff done today! What's on your plate today? Anything fun?

Hi ya!

So, I was so excited to go up to my parents tomorrow to pick up our new car...so excited for a break...needing one desperatly. Then, my dad let's us all know that his assignment was changed to HAWAII. Hello, so not fair! I'm so jealous! LOL! So, they are in Hawaii, granted they have work to do, but it's still Hawaii! So, hopefully I'll be able to get the car soon. I'm aching to get it! hehehee!

Thanks for all your sweet comments about my GGG layouts. You all make me feel so special! I know that sounds cheesy - but I'm serious! LOL! THANK YOU!!

I think we are gonna have a yard sale tomorrow morning. We've cleaning out our garage while back and the whole left side is garage sale stuff - we've got to have one. But, I don't know ANYTHING about pricing...so if you have any advice, please share! (:

Also, I needddddd help!!! My little dude, Hudson, won't eat a thing! He only wants milk and has the worst 'runs' ever! I'm starting to worry that something is wrong. Any advice? I'm all about needing advice today! LOL! I don't know if his teeth are hurting him so he's not wanting to eat - or if he's just got a virus or something. He is whiney - but nothing new there. It makes me so nervous. I hate to take him to the Dr. if they are just gonna say - just watch him, blah blah blah. So - if anyone has an advice - I'd love to hear. How do I get him to eat? He seriously won't eat anything - even his beloved pink & white animal cookies. Bummin' big time!

So, help me out! Please! Oh and guess what..

My sweet Mother-in-law is gonna come watch the kids tonight so we can go see the Davinci Code. I'm so excited to see it - and also to have a night away! LOL Hope you all have a good night! (:

Crazy busy weekend!

Wow! What a busy weekend! Sorry I've been missing here - haven't been a good blogger lately!

My family came down from SLC for the weekend. It was so great to see them and to get to chat and catch up. Madisyn was in heaven having everyone here! My parents and family are always so good to her...they took her in their car and took her all around - she loved it! I took a ton of photos - I need to upload them all. Had a great weekend! Thanks fam for coming to visit - we miss you already! (:

Well, I was swamped busy trying to get stuff done for the Guest Garden Girl spot this month and I finally got it all submitted yesterday. I just checked Two Peas while I was typing this and it looks like it's already up! Jeff is fast!! Here is a link to my GGG spot for this month. I got lots of work to do this week, stuff for Making Memories and BHG. It's all fun though! (: We are also buying my parents car (they just got a new one) so I may go up to SLC on Saturday to pick it up and drive it back down. These kiddos are driving me nuts - I seriously need a break. It's been day in and day out with them whining and fussing lately - I'm just tired! Tired and frustrated with them. I love them, I do, but I'm just tired! LOL! Ahhhhhh!

Anyway, I'll post more tomorrow with some picts and stuff. Just wanted to say that I was alive - and then I saw that the GGG stuff was up so I thought I'd share-hope you all don't mind. Just excited about it. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

I'm a busy bee right now! Lots on my plate...love everything that I'm doing (and have the wonderful opportunities to do) so that is fun and inspiring. On Thursday, Madisyn's school is having a Mother's Tea Party so that should be fun. I can't wait to go and spend time with her...love that little mush!

And, my parents, lil' bro and my sister and her hubby (and I'm hoping I'll see a little prego belly on that tiny girl) are all coming down this weekend! Too fun! They all haven't seen my kids since Christmas and they live 4 hours away. So sad! I'm so excited to share things with them and to chat! Too fun!

Good Monday morning! I woke up to no milk left in the house so we ran to Albertson's at 8 am - kinda funny. I got lots of work today so I'm hoping that the kids will be good! Thankfully Madi has school so that will help.

Wow! Wow! Wow!

What a great day yesterday! I woke up to awesome new stuff over at Two Peas and just loved it - hung out there off and on all day. So much fun! (And thanks to my hubby for letting me play most of the day!!)

And, I got some exciting news to share....

But, first, I need to thank all of you that  have already congratulated me and said such sweet words both in emails and on the posts on Two Peas. Thank you for taking the time to do that! You are all so kind and it means the world to me! SO thank you!!

So....I'm gonna be a Guest Garden Girl at Two Peas! Yahooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I am sooo excited about this! Those that know me, know that the greatest goal in my heart is to be a Garden Girl. I love those girls, love the whole philosophy behind it all, and dream of being a part of it all. So, this is just so neat for me!! I'm so honored that Jeff (Geek Pea) picked me...thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I'm so excited and I hope that I can create some great stuff! (:
