I hope you don't mind me sharing, but I was excited to see my layout up on the March Scrapbook Trends Cover this month! I did that layout about a year ago but it still means a lot to me. It was an honor to be asked to have it on the cover - thanks so much Scrapbook Trends! :)
I think we are finally getting better...still have yucky coughs but I'm sure they will fade away soon. Thanks for the well-wishes! :)
So, I am offically back to stalking mode at the online scrapbook stores! I'm so silly! Yes, I am always checking them out but it seems like so many CHA goodies are rolling in lately and I just gotta have them! :) Lots of fun stuff!
This past weekend while we were in SLC, I went to my favorite fabric store, Pine Needles at Gardner Village. Fabric has always been a love of mine, but now that my mom got all us girls into quilting...it's gotten worse...if that's possible! :) I bought tons of delicious fabric! Fabric and scrapbook supplies are similar in that once they are gone...they are usually gone. Most stores don't reorder - hence my 'need' to get it right now. It's a sickness I tell you!
They had this darling kit there and I just had to get it! In 2 weeks, we have our annual girls retreat (my mom and sisters) and I am counting down the days. Time away...no kids...sleep....scrapbooking and quilting the days and nights away...pure bliss! I am so excited! Anyway, so I got this quilt kit and a bunch of other fun things to work on while I'm there. Since we stayed in SLC longer than we had originally planned, I actually got almost all the fabric cut for the quilt. Super cool!
I'll take pictures of it all and show you - I took a photo of the quilt hanging up in the store too - just need to download them all. Fun fun stuff!
I had a productive day Sunday and Monday...got a lot of work done and that feels good. I still have a lot to do, but it feels good to be getting it done.
I'm looking forward to seeing the classes I signed up for at Scrap-a-faire tomorrow. Did you sign up? I'm taking a few, just for pure fun. I loved Tracy Kyle's idea for her stamping class of creating cards with stamping techniques on them. They are all up in my head as I'm stamping but to have a little book to flip through with them all there is a fabulous idea. I look forward to making that! :)
I'm also totally loving the sneak peek Jenni Bowlin put up on her blog for the March papercrafting kit! Pure love! And everything else that she wrote - I know I'm gonna love it! Can't wait to see it and all the other fun things up there on March 1 - always love it!
Anyway - hope you all have a good day! I'm gonna try to have another productive day - gotta go get busy! Have a good one! :)
congrats on the cover! it is such a gorgeous layout! :)

Congrats on the cover!
I love Pine Needles. I make sure to get there whenever I'm in Utah. In fact, I was just going through some fabric I bought there trying to decide what to make from it.
